A Busy Week

We have had a really busy week. On Monday, the boys and I had the opportunity to help out a friend and the boys' dentist do a photo shoot for a show called "Around Town". It will air on Monday, August 6th on channel 6. The boys were so funny. They did very well. When we were done, I got them in the car and was ready to go home. As I was starting the car, Riley said, "Aiden, are you glad we didn't have to have any shots?" Aiden said, "Yes". Riley said, "So am I. The guy kept saying they were going to do shots, but we get any!" It turns out that whenever the camera guy said he was going to do a shot here, or a shot there...or that they were going to redo a shot, the boys thought they were going to get a shot. How funny! On Wednesday I went to the Twins game with some friends. This was the day that the bridge in Minneapolis collapsed. How sad. It was weird being downtown and hearing all the sirens. We were driving by HCMC and the camera crews were all over. I will never forget seeing the ambulances leave. Had sad that this had to happen and people's lives were changed forever! On Friday we took the boys to Derby Days. They really liked jumping in all the inflatables. They also liked watching the "stunt man" on his motorcycle. He did lots of moves that amazed us all. We ended the weekend by going to a parade today and watching an amazing fire works show tonight! They loved seeing the red and green fireworks...That's about it for now...
